Jorge Vazquez Costilla


Is currently HARBOR economic’s CEO, a company he founded in 1995 that provides Financial, Economic and Market Consulting to major industrial and services firms established in Mexico such as Femsa, Cemex, Xignux, Arca Continental, Cervecería Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma, Home Depot, HEB, Ternium, and Lamosa, amongst others.

40 years of experience analyzing the economic and market environment.

He was FEMSA’s Vice-president of Economic and Market Valuation, a company where he worked for 18 years, and founded HARBOR economics in 1995 and since then is managing director. 
He represented the Mexican beer industry in NAFTA negotiations with the United States and Canada.
He studied Economics at the Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), and has a Masters degree in Planning and Economic Development from the University of East Anglia in England, and a Certificate in Economic Development and Project Evaluation from the University of Cambridge in England. 
Jorge Vazquez has written several articles for magazines and newspapers, and has been a speaker at academic and business forums, local and international, as well as participated in radio and television programs.
